You can access the Council Meeting Livestreaming page on most internet browsers. At the commencement of the council meeting, press the play button located in the centre of the livestream video. Once the video has started you will be viewing the meeting in real-time.

I am having trouble playing the livestream.

Make sure you have a stable internet connection and that your internet browser is up to date. We recommend using Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer 11+ or Safari for a better viewing experience. If you have changed internet connections, please refresh the page for the livestream to start again.

Can I ask questions during the livestream?

Livestreaming allows you to watch and listen to a meeting in real-time. You can’t speak directly to councillors or ask questions during the livestream. If you would like to submit a question about a meeting agenda item, please visit Community Questions Submissions form.
Questions must be submitted to Council by 12noon on the Friday before the scheduled committee meeting.

Can the Councillors hear me during the livestream?

No. The webcast can’t access your microphone so won’t capture any sounds outside of the meeting.

How soon after a Council Meeting will the video be available to watch?

All Council Meetings will be recorded and made available to the public two business days after the livestream. You can view the recordings of previous meetings on the archive page.

Can I download a meeting recording?

Archived videos are available to download in MPEG-4 format, which you can playback on your device with a suitable media player. Most media players are able to play MPEG-4 files.

Where can I view older meeting minutes?

You can view the minutes from previous meetings on the Agendas and minutes page.
